Salon Icon director Lisa Moore has been a hairdresser for nearly 25 years and is still in love with her profession.
"I really believe that hairdressing isn't a job, it is a lifestyle. What other profession is as much fun? I still love cutting hair -it doesn't matter how fantastic the colour is, or how great a person's clothes are, without a good cut they simply won't look as good as they could."
Lisa has owned her own salon since 1995. During this time has transformed from full time stylist on the floor to travelling the world teaching for Sebastian to currently working two days on the floor and full time mum of her son Charley who was born on the 22nd of October.
In 1998, Intercoiffure, the prestigious international association which only invites hairdressers who have demonstrated excellence in hairdressing and ethical business practices, invited Lisa to join them. In 2005 Lisa received their silver service award for commitment to training ***
At the beginning of 2001, the innovative hair care company, Sebastian, invited Lisa to become a Sebastian Design Artist - the first in Australia. This new role had Lisa regularly travelling overseas for spring/summer and autumn/winter seasonal briefings. Then travelling all over Australia, conducting seminars for other Sebastian hairdressers. Lisa resigned her position just prior to birth of her son, however, still has close contacts with the Sebastian team.
Lisa married Jez Moore in December 2002 .Yes the tall dark haired handsome man seen in salon Oct-Dec 02 now in 2006 it is more likely to see Jez sporting a platinum blonde style and running his own business Image Alloy Cases.
Lisa and Jez both enjoy their favourite product: Sebastian's Disobedient "for all the name suggests!"
