Tucked behind a facade that keeps the traffic of Rokeby Road at bay, Salon Icon is a haven where the generously-spaced chairs ensure consultations between stylist and client remain private while cappuccinos, home-made biscuits and racks of magazines evoke a café atmosphere.

Lisa says "We have a very broad range of clients who come to us because we are right up to date with the latest hair styles and products, but we don't try and impose anything on them".

"We have a philosophy of talking to the client about their lifestyle and expectations then offering options that will suit them best. It's all about empowering the client, not imposing on them."

In addition to hair care, Salon Icon has a resident beautician, make up artist and nail technician. The salon stocks Sebastian, Trucco, Goldwell, Artec, Nioxin products and has onepoint scissors. Salon Icon is an Intercoiffure salon.

We are not an international franchise which replicates the same five haircuts whether the client is in London or Perth. We are not a chain where clients and staff are treated like components of a production line. While we love our fashion, our love is not blind: we will not give you the latest style if it won't suit you. We give individual service to individuals.
